Mother’s Day Haiku

Unconditional

The love you give so freely

Appreciated

Springtime in Chicago

Cold … Chilly … Warm … Hot … Cold

Thunder, lightening, crazy wind

Torrential rain and flash floods

Topped off with a bit of snow

Standing Request

If you stand to pee

Please lift the seat this I plea

Wet cheeks make me frown

Average Day

Inbox overflows
Clickity clack … send … repeat
Just another day

Past Present Future

Yesterday lingers
Today brings more and the same
Tomorrows brand new

Happy Anniversary

It is Anniversary Day!

Today is the day
Another year passes by
You bring me great joy

April Fools Day

Foolery Today

A watchful eye – stay alert

The jokes not on you

Air guitar is out
Umbrella guitar is hot
Strum it baby, strum
